A personal and inspired cuisine
In a cozy and welcoming setting, Chef Guillaume Scheer and his wife Charlotte invite you to enjoy an exceptional culinary experience where the essence of emotion is expressed through a personal and inspired cuisine.
The Chef works primarily with local producers who support him in his pursuit of excellence. The wine list showcases the finest Alsatian vineyards as well as the succulent wines of Burgundy.
A Chef Dedicated to Excellence
Passionate about cooking from a very young age, Guillaume Scheer first attended the hotel management school in Strasbourg to gain his initial experience. The chef continued his training as a sous-chef at L’Étrier du Royal Barrière in Deauville, then at the Pavillon Ledoyen in Paris alongside Christian Le Squer (***), where he refined his style and learned the art of excellence.
His love for his native region brought him back to Strasbourg, where he took the helm of the kitchen at 1741* for three years and earned a Michelin star. Drawing on these experiences at some of the finest establishments in the culinary world, he decided in 2018 to open a restaurant with his wife Charlotte that reflected their vision: Les Plaisirs Gourmands.
After 7.5 years in Schiltigheim, a new chapter began in 2025 with the restaurant’s move to 21 Quai Mullenheim, 67000 Strasbourg.
A true virtuoso of flavors, the Chef offers modern and creative cuisine, combining meticulous sauce work with notes of citrus and fresh herbs.
This mastery was recognized with the titles of “Young Talent” in 2017 and “Grand de Demain National” in 2019 by the prestigious Gault & Millau guide, followed by a Michelin star in 2021. In 2024, the restaurant was once again honored by Gault & Millau 2024 and joined the Association des Étoiles d’Alsace in September 2024.
